28.09 14.30 – 18.00 | NRRP BOROUGHS | PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION: PROSPECTS FOR THE NEW GOVERNANCE, COMMUNICATION, AND IMPACT MONITORING
In collaboration with OReP – Observatory for the Recovery Plan, University of Rome Tor Vergata and Promo PA Fondazione

The implementing parties of the projects financed under the Borghi Call, the project managers, and the representatives of the Regions meet to dive deeper into the implementation of the actions in force in relation to the issues that will be decisive for the success of the projects in 2026: public-private governance, the establishment of economic realities, the monitoring of activities, and communication. The reflection will move from the results of the OReP survey on the Borough, financed by the Ministry of Culture.

28.09 15.00 – 18.00 | MUSEUM AS EXPERIENTIAL SPACES BETWEEN NARRATION, PRODUCTION AND THE DIGITAL

New innovative and experimental approaches, sustainable and inclusive spaces are meant “to share” and meet the behaviors, expectations, and needs of visitors. Projects born from an interdisciplinary perspective that connects content and container, acting on spaces and their aesthetics, aim to create a new narrative through the combined use of different disciplines: architecture, scenography, video projections, sound design, interactive devices, multimedia and multimodal storytelling. The panel welcomes the international debate on the topic, calling some of the greatest interpreters of this approach together with young emerging talents.

29.09 10.00 – 13.00 and 15.00 – 17.30 | THE CULTURAL EXPERIENCE BETWEEN REAL AND VIRTUAL: NEW PARADIGMS AND CREATIVITY

Digital innovation with its artisans, museums, and places of culture, unexpected, abandoned, and regenerated spaces; cultures, generations, diversity, and sensitivity between the real and the virtual, between individual and community. All this and much more will be discussed to enhance the many dimensions of the cultural experience. On this second day, public and private organizations, creators, and high-profile interlocutors come together to inspire a new demand and stimulate a project renewal that looks at community participation and young people as producers and users of culture.

28.09 15.00 – 18.00 | NEW AREAS OF WORK FOR CULTURAL AND CREATIVE ENTERPRISES: NEEDS, SKILLS RENEWAL, AND EMERGING PROFESSIONS

The role of cultural and creative enterprises in accompanying and supporting the socio-economic transformation, the skills and tools needed to move decisively in the new areas of development of cultural work, and the governmental instruments that are necessary in a competitive system in order to become agents of transformation in answering to the market.

29.09  10.00 – 13.30 and 15.00 – 17.30| Lab dedicated to cooperatives | MULTIDISCIPLINARY, NETWORKING, AND NEW SKILLS FOR CULTURAL WORK
In collaboration with Culturmedia Legacoop, Legacoop Nazionale and coopculture within the ISFORCOOP Fon.coop capacity building project curated, with the participation of “Cultural Alliances” – Fondazione NOI, Legacoop Toscana

The workshop aims to create a moment of co-planning and networking between the system of cooperatives and the realities that collaborate in the cultural and tourist fields from a multidisciplinary perspective. The skills needed to respond to the challenges of a changing market and intercept new business opportunities in the ten areas identified by the research of Isforcoop and Culturmedia Legacoop curated by Promo PA Foundation. The research will be presented in the morning.


28.09 e 29.09  | PIPELINE ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY

The pipeline will address the multiform concept of funding mix by alternating seminar sessions with national funding opportunities and the presentation of good practices. Public and private partners will take the floor to define the skills underlying the achievement of the objective of economic sustainability from the point of view of strategic policies, communication and marketing plans and activities, and management processes.

28.09 15.00 – 18.00 | THE ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY OF CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS: FROM NEW  APPROACHES TO PARTNERSHIP TO THE INNOVATIVE DIMENSION OF FUNDRAISING

The economic sustainability of cultural organizations requires new approaches to public-private relations and an integrated vision of the programming – narration – activity process. Cultural organizations, in all areas of activity, must learn more and more quickly to adapt to a changing society and economic environment. Are there “new” and innovative models and approaches that ensure greater economic sustainability and more? Is the economic support of the State and the institutions being called into question? What are the critical points and factors in the success of these models? The meeting will deepen this composite theme in relation to strategy, processes, communication, and marketing, integrating vision interventions, methodological proposals, and accredited witnesses who, on these principles, have successfully rethought the dynamics of their organizations.

29.09 10.30 – 13.00 | FINANCIAL MEASURES AND NEW NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN COLLABORATIVE FORMS FOR THE CULTURE SYSTEM

A meeting to deepen the opportunities for economic sustainability for the public and private cultural sectors and the new collaborative forms that provide paths for co-planning and partnerships, with the aim of increasing the potential of culture to build creative and sustainable economies.   From the Work Plan for Culture 2023–26 to the National Plan for Culture, from products dedicated to the sector by credit institutions to regional funding lines, a strategic framework calls for these opportunities to be incorporated into agreements resulting from public-private collaborative pathways. 

29.09 10.00 – 13.00 and 14.30 – 17.00 | ART BONUS: TOOLS, SOLUTIONS, AND NEW PERSPECTIVES FOR THE CONSOLIDATION OF RELATIONS WITH THE TERRITORY AND THE PATRONS

This seminar aims to stimulate discussion on the themes of fundraising, communication, public reporting of projects carried out, the opportunities deriving from the ecological transition for the achievement of new patrons, and the consolidation of relations with those in existence and more generally with the territories on which they operate. The dialogue with the experts will allow participants to acquire skills both in terms of content and project methodology and also thanks to the analysis of projects carried out by the participants, which will be an active part of the day.

29.09 15.30 – 17.30 | Lab | THE ROLE OF FUNDRAISING IN THE ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY MODEL
In collaboration with the School of Fundraising in Rome

A session offering operational ideas to deepen the theme of the funding mix for cultural organizations and the role that fundraising can play for economic sustainability. The workshop will not introduce a mere collection of funds but a strategy made of relationships, design, participation, and generating social and cultural added value for all those involved in the supply chain.

Organized by Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali and Istituto Centrale per la Digitalizzazione del Patrimonio Culturale – Digital Library, with the support of Promo PA Fondazione

Fondazione Scuola dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali, as part of the project “Training and improvement of digital skills” based on the investment PNRR 1.1 – Digital strategies and platforms for the cultural heritage of the Digital Library, promotes an operational meeting with representatives of the territorial cultural system and in cooperation with local authorities and regions. The aim of the workshop is to co-design the training actions in support of the digital transformation process, aimed at local government professionals, institutions, and organizations involved in the implementation of the National Plan for the Digitization of Cultural Heritage (UNDP).

29.09 10.00 – 13.00 e 15.00 – 17.00| PIPELINE TERRITORIES AND CITIES | CULTURE AND THE CREATIVE ECONOMY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. POLICIES, GOVERNANCE, AND TOOLS
In collaboration with Fondazione Scuola beni e Attività Culturali, Rete dei Comuni Sostenibili, Rete Città Creative Unesco

The European Union recognizes the transformative power of culture and creativity in the development of resilient, sustainable, and future-oriented cities. Cultural policy projects such as Italian and European Capital of Culture, the Unesco Creative City, as well as some of the lines of intervention of the PNRR and the New European Bauhaus represent extraordinary opportunities to implement this vision by activating virtuous processes of co-planning between the cities and territories of which they are part. The meeting is an opportunity to exchange experiences and reference models, focusing on strategic issues such as governance, sustainability, design, and planning.

In collaboration with Regione Emilia-Romagna and Regione Toscana within the interregional project of training on accessibility

The workshop is the first meeting of the interregional training on inclusion and accessibility promoted by Regione Emilia-Romagna and Regione Tuscany, with the scientific and technical support of Promo PA Foundation. The objective of this course is to expand the relational system and the skills of the cultural sector within the wider framework of cultural welfare through co-planning between public and private organizations.

In collaboration with CCIAA Toscana Nord Ovest Premise

The cultural sector can and must contribute to the transition to a green economy and climate action in order to guide strategies and procedures and remain competitive, without losing the values that it has always been recognized. The workshop, focusing on cultural events that have a significant environmental impact, aims to identify and provide organizational, technical, and strategic solutions to adopt in response to this great challenge and start a conversation and new collaborations towards the development and adoption of system actions.
