9.30 – 13-00 | Culture as a driver of change: challenges, opportunities and players

OPENING CONFERENCE

The guiding theme of the opening conference of LuBeC 2021 was Recovery Plan, Digital Transition and New Humanism declined through the challenges that the Country has to face today and that consider culture as a fundamental element in generating innovation, competitiveness and growth.
The challenges of LuBeC 2021 were digitalisation and sustainability; education and competitiveness; cultural welfare and internationalization; inclusion and new housing dimensions.
These themes were explored through workshops, B2B meetings, Open Labs and Talks, starting from the current national measures and the PNRR.

#digitalisation Immersivity is characterised by an experimental use of cutting-edge technologies as an artistic tool to create immersive environments and multisensory experiences.  But what is it exactly? And in what way does immersivity decline or is it art itself?

Organised by MiC – Ministry of Culture

#competitiveness A meeting to present the initiatives implemented in the territories for the cultural regeneration of villages and the promotion of natural heritage.


15.00 – 17.00 | Cultural welfare : systematic actions for establishing a national policy

In collaboration with the Region of Tuscany and Parma Italian Capital of Culture 2020+21

#cultural welfare Culture is a determining factor for the health and wellbeing of the community. This evidence, endorsed by the WHO, has encouraged a number of Italian regions to promote a reflection on strengthening the alliance between culture and health at a regional level.
The Marches, Emilia Romagna with Parma Italian Capital of Culture 2020+21, Piedmont, and Tuscany have developed systemic actions and projects of a different nature, but with the same goal: to know, strengthen, and promote public-private cultural welfare policies between the healthcare and cultural systems. This meeting aims to be an opportunity to discuss possible territorial and national collaborations, also in terms of policies.


15.00 – 17.30 | Cultural and creative enterprises: new opportunities and tools for recovery

#competitiveness The Covid-19 pandemic has created new cultural, social and economic scenarios. The aim of the meeting was to provide an overview of the current situation of cultural and creative enterprises, and to highlight the issues that have strongly emerged in the economic downturn. It also included a focus on the strategies that should guide the recovery of the cultural sector and the whole Country.


15.00 – 17.30 | Culture and digital communication: the opportunities of the Art Bonus

In collaboration with Ales – Arte Lavoro e Servizi spa

#competiveness & #digitalisation A moment of discussion and training dedicated to the Art Bonus as a communication resource, with the aim of promoting the consolidation of relationships of collaboration and support between citizens, companies and public administrators through structured tools and valorisation processes.
